Neil Winfiled

Executive Director for Philanthropic Partnerships and Board Relations

In this role Neil oversees Canary Serve’s private fundraising efforts, providing critical support to its conservation initiatives throughtout the life of Canary Serve. Taking a creative and collaborative approach, Neil has been instrumental in the establishment of multi-stakeholder partnerships to achieve conservations at-scale.

Outside of his professional life, Neil has brought her considerable governance and advancement expertise to several nonprofit boards with over 10 years of relationship management and governance experience.

Mrs Dodd Teri Winfiled

Trustee, Finance, Tech & Operations

Mrs Dodd Teri Winfield is a trustee; however, she is responsible for all aspects of the finance, accounting, information technology, facilities, program operations, and treasury departments. She is passionate about helping organizations achieve their strategic goals and is committed to the principles of integrity, accountability, and collaboration. 

Her role entails overseeing both the financial and human resource functions of Canary Serve

David John Fraser

Trustee, Global Policy & Partnership Partner

A trustee and also our Global Policy and Partnerships Director at Canary Serve. With three decades of experience in multilateral environmental diplomacy, Adam works to drive transformative change with governments, international institutions, multilateral development banks, and global policy processes to advance canary serves mission.

David oversees the development and implementation of policies that have a global impact, and fostering relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, including governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international institutions, and private-sector entities.

Mr. Adam Knight

Trustee, Chief operating officer

Adam has overall strategic responsibility for the design and successful delivery of Canary Serve. This includes the effective maintenance of Charities finance, business planning and performance management functions; and the management of other resources needed to ensure canary serve is able to deliver its objectives. Previously, Adam worked as a consultant and researcher at Shared Intelligence, where he worked on neighbourhood renewal, community engagement, and social housing projects. 

At the same time, he was also a programme manager for the National Association for Neighbourhood Management, where hhe designed and delivered learning and networking programmes. Before this, Adam worked for Croydon Council. Also Adam has a key role in assessing proposals and plans for canary serve and supporting delivery.
Adams’s background is in grant making. Prior to joining Canary Serve  he was Grants Manager at the Whilly Trust, overseeing their grant making to organisations delivering educational programmes for young people in London. he has also managed funding programmes at The Royal Society and John Lyon’s . Adam has an degree in Biochemistry and a masters degree in the History and Philosophy of Science. In his spare time he volunteers as an Independent Visitor, through which he is a mentor and advocate for a young person in care.

Andrew Kaye

Trustee, strategy consulting, performing arts, and journalism

Andrew Kaye as Canary Serve’s Trustee also brings immense operational experience with networked organizations in the fields of strategy consulting, performing arts, and journalism. In his role at Canary Serve, he oversees the operational functions, the resource mobilization teams, and strategic partnerships, including Communications, Development, Public and Private Partnerships, and Risk Management. 

He helps drive the organization’s strategy and improve the overall workplace culture, while advancing Canary Serve’s mission with external stakeholders.

Mr. Simon Walker

Trustee, A Chartered Forester and an environmentalist

Is a Chartered Forester and is an environmentalist with more than 20 years’ experience in the land management sector. Simon is the Programmes Officer for Forestry Ireland , the largest landowner in Chesire , with responsibility for the organisations operations. Simon has an Masters of Business Administration from Bayes Business school and is committed to sustainable land management to deliver social, environmental and economic benefits. Simon Alex has experience leading the operations of organisations in inclusive finance. 

He was Head of Operations at The Private Infrastructure Development Group, an infrastructure development and finance organisation that delivers pioneering infrastructure in the poorest and most fragile countries. Prior to that he was Group Operations Director at Manus Trading Group ,an impact investor that focusses on inclusive African agriculture and mineal advocacy and value addition.
