Scientific and Technological Capability of a Nation depends upon the early, strong and continuous education to the pupil in Mathematics, Science and Technology. No Profession is possible without good-teaching. Enthusiasm for science almost always begins in school and a great deal of the responsibility for the future supply of scientist, Engineers, Doctors and civil servants lies with our teachers. School Nurse
Lydia Elsie Nalugya

My role year-round is to support children and young people both in schools and other settings in our community.
As a School nurse I use my clinical judgement and public health expertise to identify health needs early, determining risk and protective factors, and providing early intervention to prevent issues escalating. we work in partnership with Canary Serve a UK based NGO ,Children’s Social Care professionals, Allied health professionals, and voluntary services to meet the needs our children and young people.

School Dispensary
The school management is conscious about the health of its children. An Annual health check up of the students is a compulsory feature where teams of specialized doctors examine the students thoroughly and suggest further needs / tests on individual medical cards. The health report is duly sent to the wards parents for information. Other than this the school conducts regular health orientation and life skill programmes. The school provides its students and staff members a round the clock dispensary in the school campus. The dispensary is less equipped though and needs sponsorship in terms of medical equipment and headed by a qualified Nurse and trained staff to assist. The students have an easy access to the dispensary for any kind of medical aid.
